Santa Maria Troncatti - An itinerary, not an exhibition
Parrocchia di Sant'Ambrogio e Oratorio di Santa Caterina, Alassio
Organised by Associazione Mornese Liguria ODV
In Alassio, from 28 October to 3 November, the figure of Saint Maria Troncatti, missionary and Daughter of Mary Help of Christians, is told through an itinerary rather than an exhibition: panels, images and interactive content distributed between the Parish of Sant'Ambrogio and the Oratory of Santa Caterina, one year after her canonization. Opening is every day from 8:30 to 18:30, with a guided tour at 16:00 and, in the morning, by reservation for groups and schools. The itinerary is accompanied by four events: the inauguration on 28 October, the presentation of the book dedicated to the Saint on 29 October, a meeting for children and young people on 1 November and the Missionary Vigil on 3 November. The initiative is promoted by the Associazione Mornese Liguria ODV, in collaboration with the Missionary Pastoral Section of the Diocesan Office for Proclamation and Catechesis, with the patronage of the Municipality of Alassio and the network of Croce Rossa Italiana Alassio committee, Istituto Figlie di Maria Ausiliatrice and Famiglia Salesiana Ligure.
