POST SEDIMENTA. Pompei: Strati di Memoria
- Exhibition
Palazzo del Parco, Sala Mostre e Convegni "R. Falchi", Corso Garibaldi 60, Diano Marina (IM)
Organised by Comune di Diano Marina
International collective exhibition of contemporary art hosted at Palazzo del Parco, in Diano Marina, from 31 October to 7 November 2026. The project draws inspiration from the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD and from how Pompei has preserved, layer after layer, the memory of the city. Seven artists from five countries compare different languages and divide the exhibition into three moments: before, during and after. No historical reconstruction, rather a stratification: the works overlap like sediments and let what remains be glimpsed. The initiative is sponsored by the Comune di Diano Marina. Admission is free and the exhibition is open every day from 16:00 to 19:00, with a vernissage and aperitif on Saturday 31 October at 18:30.
