The Festa di San Rocco enlivens the Tasso hamlet of Lumarzo with two days of events blending devotion and conviviality. The religious celebration is the heart of Sunday afternoon, with mass and the traditional procession through the streets of the village.
What makes the festival special is the village atmosphere among the food stalls, where Polisportiva Tasso offers its signature dish: asado, a grilled meat prepared according to South American tradition. The evening continues with the tribute to 883 by Jolly Blu, getting the whole village singing.
Monday is dedicated to sports and good food, with a petanque tournament open to all and food stalls open for both lunch and dinner, to close the festival in good company.
