Madonna dei fiori

The Madonna dei fiori is a traditional summer festival held in Pezzonasca di Moconesi, in Val Fontanabuona, for four consecutive evenings from 7 to 10 August 2026. Each evening is enlivened by live music with orchestras and DJ sets: starting Friday with the orchestra Anna Maria Allegretti, Saturday with the Jungle Party with DJs Alessandro and Kelly Mema, Sunday with the orchestra Giorgio Ikebana and Monday with the orchestra Omar Lambertini. Sunday evening is the religious heart of the festival: at 8:45 PM the Holy Mass with procession, floral tribute to the ladies and distribution of homemade sweets; in the afternoon (5-11 PM) a special philatelic cancellation for the 65th anniversary is available. Throughout the evenings, food stands are open with local specialties, including cheese focaccia, grilled ribs (Friday), pulled pork (Saturday) and asado (Saturday and Sunday).
