The Municipality of Pontedassio joins the "Wonder Day for the Children of War", a national initiative promoted by the Association "Per far sorridere il cielo – O.d.v." with the patronage of ANCI. The event includes, on Sunday 11 and Monday 12 October 2026, the placement, coloring, and inauguration of an amaranth bench in an evocative place in the town, with the inscription "A Child to whom you give Wonder, will be a healthy bearer of Peace". The initiative is aimed especially at children from the municipality's kindergartens and primary schools, who can participate in activities and workshops related to the "Drawing of Wonder".
