On Sunday, September 27th, starting at 10 am, Mele will host the seventh edition of the "Giornata dello Sport" (Sports Day), organized by the Pro Loco di Mele with the support of the Municipality of Mele and the contribution of BIM – Bacino Imbrifero Val Bormida. For an entire day, the town will turn into a large space dedicated to sports, wellness, and socializing, with a rich program of activities designed to involve children, teenagers, and adults. You will be able to discover and try numerous disciplines for free, meet local sports associations and organizations, and spend a Sunday full of movement and fun. Starting at 10 am, clubs, associations, and dance schools will be present in the squares and sports facilities of Mele with demonstrations and trials. In the elementary school area, you can try archery and, among the new features of this edition, have fun with remote-controlled cars and inflatables. ANIARTI operators will also be present, illustrating some important first aid procedures, with practical demonstrations dedicated in particular to clearing the airways. Among the new features of this edition is the chance to try climbing, thanks to a dedicated tower. Alongside sports, the day will also offer activities dedicated to wellness and fun: Laughter Yoga returns, while among the new features there will be the opportunity to get closer to swing dancing. There will also be space for outdoor activities: the Turchino Outdoor group will organize a morning MTB gathering on the trails of Mele. The appointment with good food will not be missed: at the Pro Loco stand, in the area adjacent to the oratory, you can stop for lunch and enjoy spätzle and much more. In the afternoon, there will also be a snack with frisceau, waffles, bread with butter and jam, and bread with Nutella. The Sports Day will also be enriched by a craft market and the activities of Ilaria, the "dipingibimbi", who will give the little ones a moment of fantasy and color.
