In Savona, guided tours of the underground of the Fortezza del Priamar return, accompanied by speleologists from the Gruppo Speleologico Savonese DLF. The excursions wind through tunnels, cisterns, and passages carved into the rock, telling centuries of military and civil history, from 19th-century prisons to 20th-century air-raid shelters. Evening appointments are held almost every two weeks, from June to October, in small groups across three staggered shifts. Booking required.

The 'I Pomeriggi della Mozart' series returns to Savona with five free concerts from August to November, hosted in unusual and charming locations: gardens, churches, an oratory, and the civic art gallery. An opportunity to enjoy live music and discover lesser-known corners of the city. The program ranges from the singer-songwriter pop of Lucio Battisti to classical repertoire for baroque flutes, violin and harp, as well as clarinet and string quartet performing music by Mozart and Brahms. Each event is designed to enhance the neighborhood that hosts it, with free admission.

Savona Sport Up is a sports event promoted by the Municipality of Savona in collaboration with the Sports Department, involving local sports associations and middle school students. The event takes place in various areas of the city center, including via Manzoni, piazza Sisto IV, piazza Pertini and corso Italia, with initiatives dedicated to promoting physical and sports activities. The event includes the participation of numerous associations and the closure of some streets to traffic to ensure the safe conduct of activities. Traffic changes affect via Manzoni, piazza Sisto IV, piazza Pertini, corso Italia, via Astengo and via Ratti, with parking and transit bans in the affected areas.

IV edizione del Festival Connexxion - Elegia della fragilità

From 18 to 26 September 2026, the 4th edition of the Diffuse Festival of Contemporary Art Connexxion takes place, titled "Elegia della fragilità", curated by the Cultural Association Arteam. The festival offers installations, performances and talks spread across multiple city venues, including the former Sant'Agostino Prison in Piazza Monticello, which from 19 September 2026 will host site-specific installations open to visitors until the end of the event.

On Thursday, September 24, 2026, the Semplicemente Danza school kicks off the new academic year of Argentine tango with a free trial lesson for beginners. An opportunity to discover the first steps of this elegant discipline and experience the school's atmosphere with no commitment. The appointment is at 8:30 PM at Via Stalingrado 84 in Savona. Just show up in comfortable clothes and with a desire to dance, no reservation needed. The basic lesson is designed for those starting from scratch, but at the end, around 9:30 PM, a trial of the intermediate course is also offered for those who already know the basics. An informal and welcoming way to approach tango, meet the teachers, and decide whether to continue the journey during the year.

A historic appointment for lovers of antiques and collecting, which every month enlivens the streets of Savona's city center. On Sunday, November 22, 2026, the stalls will return to populate Via Paleocapa, Corso Italia, and Via Astengo, in the limited traffic zone. The wide selection includes period furniture, paintings, porcelain, ceramics, books, prints, and collectibles. In case of bad weather, the event is held under the arcades of Via Paleocapa up to Piazza Mameli.
