In Savona, guided tours of the underground of the Fortezza del Priamar return, accompanied by speleologists from the Gruppo Speleologico Savonese DLF.
The excursions wind through tunnels, cisterns, and passages carved into the rock, telling centuries of military and civil history, from 19th-century prisons to 20th-century air-raid shelters. Evening appointments are held almost every two weeks, from June to October, in small groups across three staggered shifts.
